about

Yes it's a solo album, sorry about that. There will be a new Protest Family Album along shortly, but in the meantime this is a collection of songs that the others didn't like, or didn't get round to learning or that just weren't right for the band, along with some things that I just needed to say on my own.

Click on each song for a little of the background story. You can also look some of this stuff up on the internet for further background, such as the Daily Mail's treatment of Isobel Jones-Reilly, the EDL coming to Walthamstow in 2012 and what The Sun called striking firefighters in 2002. The odd one or two, well you'll have to just let me tell them, or maybe you just had to be there. If in doubt though, google it. (Other search engines are available).

I've got no plans for a physical release, just the download, but y'know if there's enough interest I just might. But this is free, or pay if you want, so you can't say fairer than that, right?

You can't get away with something like this without a little help from your friends though. Listen out for Mrs Protest, the amazing Fran Powers (Modern Clix, Box Of Crayons, Little Old Ladies) and the dulcet tones of Dave Craig.
